North Pole Alaska.. Where the Spirit of Christmas Lasts All Year Long

"People don't think there is such a place.  You say it's near Fairbanks and you build from there." Chad Kreuter

"I felt like a Pioneer"  Mike Gillespie

North Pole, Alaska is located 14 miles south of Fairbanks on the Richardson Highway.   The City of North Pole was incorporated in 1953.  Though the city was founded in an attempt to attract toy manufacturers,  its grew into community serving local military bases.  Starting in 1975, oil refining fueled the local economy.   The introduction of the oil industry brought a period of rapid population growth in the area, making North Pole a noticeable sister city to Fairbanks and a logical home for an expansion ballclub in the Alaska Baseball League.

Comments:

Every year at Christmas time we do a videoconference with our young students with Santa and an elf and Mrs. Claus. Every year the questions get harder and harder to answer. Without fail, the children want to see the reindeer. We always just tell them that they're outside. This time I though how great it would be if we had footage of the reindeer standing around or doing whatever reindeer do for the children to see. We try anything to get them to believe as long as we can. I was wondering what kind of footage you had available and how much you would charge us to use it. We are a non-profit education service center in Texas. Please let me know so that I can see if it's within our budget. Thanks
